Robin’s cousins, Gord and Mary, visited us this week before their trip to Kenya. Today was their travel day from Amsterdam to Nairobi and they were out of the house and into a taxi at 7:00 am. I took the opportunity to grab my camera in the pre-dawn hours and take some photos of the Muiderpoort, Amsterdam’s old eastern gate. The first photos lacked something; it was only when the morning’s first tram moved past the Muiderpoort that the scene came together.
