Armed with all this good information, I started sculpting a figure: Engineer Bill.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Scratchbuilt Figure: Engineer &quot;Bill&quot; by Station Studios, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/stationstudios\/97725452\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/31\/97725452_b7d9c8f89a_m.jpg\" alt=\"Scratchbuilt Figure: Engineer &quot;Bill&quot;\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s based on a photograph from the book &#8220;The Fossmill Story&#8221; and is designed to stand in the cab of my live steam Konrad engine. I found it much easier to get the proportions right working from a photograph.
