I only recently learned that the city of St Thomas, along with a number of volunteers and donors created a mountain bike trail network on the north side of the city. It’s been a long time since I did a true mountain bike ride so I loaded up my 20+ year old Norco Rush and headed out on a beautiful late October morning.
I had the whole network to myself on this Wednesday morning which meant I could take my time learning the trails. There is a good mix of green, blue and black trails. I stuck to the green and blue ones: my favourite was one of the newer ones: Spaghetti Western.
Water Tower is a great addition to the area and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a local MTB experience.
