Fingal Wildlife Management Area

You can read posts about our 25 km from WTF adventures here or see them on a map.

We are fortunate to live so close to the Fingal WMA (Wildlife Management Area). It is a great place for walking and hiking and has over 50 geocaches located throughout it.

On this day, Lily, Becky, Konrad and I decided to brave the snowy conditions and walk around the Ian Carmichael Pond, a wetlands area in the southern end of the area. The wind was a little bracing on the north side of the pond but it was on our backs on the way back to the car.

We still have lots to see at the Fingal WMA.
